Any member who has Emeritus status with the State Bar of Georgia who has been a member of GACDL for at least 25 years may (according to our records OR if they say so—we won’t argue this point) remain a GACDL member at the retired membership rate.

A person who is regularly enrolled in a school of law in Georgia, or who has graduated and is waiting to obtain their bar license. Must have an attorney sponsor who is a member.

Any member who has Emeritus status with the State Bar of Georgia who has been a member of GACDL for less than 25 years

Full-time criminal defense investigators who are employed full-time by a nonprofit or a public defender's office. Must have valid Georgia private investigator license and attorney sponsor who is a member.

Full-time criminal defense paralegals who are employed full-time by a nonprofit or a public defender's office. Paralegals must have attorney sponsor who is a GACDL member.

Employed full-time by a nonprofit organization or are a full-time government employed public defender (city, circuit, or federal).

Need member-attorney sponsor

An attorney in good standing who has been admitted to the practice of law in a jurisdiction other than Georgia. Subject to approval.  

Full-time criminal defense investigators. Must have valid Georgia private investigator license and attorney sponsor who is a member.

Full-time criminal defense paralegal. Must have attorney sponsor who is a GACDL member.

Private practitioners and contract public defenders.

Helps the association make its budget

One multi-day seminar or webinar free (except CLE costs) per membership year.

GACDL dues are waived. Seminar fees are not waived.

5 Annual installments to become a Life Member. GACDL dues waived for life after full payment. Seminars not included. Any person may join at this level.
